Activist Shareholding Advisory

"States are not moral agents, people are, and can impose moral standards on powerful institutions."
-- A. N. Chomsky

In a world were uncertainty is growing every day it is imperative that we hold people accountable for their actions. This principal should be applied to leaders of nations, corporate management boards, as well as individuals. Through shareholder activism people are able to force this change and ensure that corporate boards and management adhere by ethical and high moral standards.

Shareholder activism is the process by which stakeholders can enforce their power as company owners to influence a corporation's behavior. It is also a way in which shareholders can influence a corporation's behavior by exercising their rights as owners. Although shareholders don't run a company, there are ways for them to influence the board of directors and management. These can range from dialogue with management to voice their concerns about a particular issue to formal proposals that are voted on by all shareholders at a company's annual meetings.

We closely assist our clients in their activist goals and we support their moral vision. Through our expertise in Capital Markets and Economic Development we formulate the most efficient and cost effective plan to achieve their mission.
